Broadmoor Golf Club - West

The Broadmoor's West Course is the resort's second eighteen, sharing the same Cheyenne Mountain setting 6,400-6,800 feet above sea level in Colorado Springs. Donald Ross laid out The Broadmoor's original 18 holes in 1918; Robert Trent Jones Sr. expanded and redesigned the property in 1952 and 1964, and the West Course as it plays today combines Ross's work with Jones's. It measures 7,016 yards to a par 71 over the same tree-lined, sharply contoured hillside ground, with lightning-quick bent-grass greens and Front Range views throughout. The West hosted the 1967 U.S. Amateur. Play is available to Broadmoor hotel guests. The golf facility includes two full-service practice areas — a multi-tiered driving range with five target greens, multiple chipping greens with bunkers, and three putting greens — with instruction from PGA professionals. The clubhouse holds locker rooms, a well-stocked golf shop and multiple dining venues overlooking the 18th green. The resort runs tournaments, corporate outings and custom stay-and-play packages year-round, with carts included in all green fees.
