Greenock Country Club
Greenock Country Club is a historic nine-hole, publicly accessible course in Lee, Massachusetts, set on compact, rolling ground just west of downtown in the central Berkshires. Today the club operates as a daily-fee facility with optional memberships and no initiation fees, offering a walkable loop that is typically played twice from alternate tees to produce an 18-hole, par-70 round measuring 6,122 yards from the longest combination (Black/Blue). A small clubhouse with lounge and banquet room anchors the first and ninth, and the property also maintains two clay tennis courts that are open to the public—an unusual amenity for a small New England golf venue. Practice provisions are modest (putting and chipping), and the scorecard reflects separate ratings for men (par 35 per side) and women (par 37 per side). The current playing character emphasizes short-grass surrounds and elevated targets that place a premium on precise approach play more than on length; the longest single hole from the outward nine is a 473-yard par five, while the shortest is a 168–172-yard par three. In season, the course is open seven days a week.
