Highland Country Club

Highland Country Club sits just west of downtown Fayetteville, NC, in a residential corridor off Raeford Road. The club is private and offers golf alongside tennis, aquatics, dining, and a year-round social calendar; the golf course anchors a compact campus immediately outside the city’s historic district. Visitors today find an 18-hole course that plays from roughly 6,500–6,700 yards at par 72, with a conventional practice setup and a driving range and putting green. Conditioning reflects a warm-season profile (Bermuda fairways with bentgrass on the greens as listed in multiple directories), and the course’s day-to-day presentation emphasizes tree-lined corridors and small, lively putting surfaces. Access is limited to members and their guests, but the club does host regional amateur competitions, so the course is occasionally set for formal tournament play.
