Miami Valley Golf Club

Set on 157 acres northwest of downtown Dayton, Miami Valley Golf Club presents a tree-framed Donald Ross layout that today plays to a par of 71 from 6,795 yards. The private club operates without tee times and centers golf activity around an historic clubhouse—listed on the National Register of Historic Places—along with a pool and seasonal dining. Practice facilities include a bent-grass range tee, two championship putting greens, a short-game area, and a practice bunker. The club continues to host competitive events in the region (e.g., Ohio Senior Amateur in 2021) while maintaining daily member play on bent-grass greens and fairways. Visitors encounter a walkable routing with several angled fairway bunkers and a stream influencing play on the inward nine; the closing corridor returns directly to the clubhouse, reinforcing a compact, member-friendly experience.
