Oak Hill Country Club - East

Oak Hill Country Club’s East Course lies in Pittsford, a suburb southeast of Rochester, on a rolling, tree-studded property bisected in places by Allens Creek. Today the club is a private, 36-hole facility with Tudor-style clubhouse, seasonal cottages, caddie program, and extensive practice grounds that support its role as a recurring major-championship venue. The East—restored in 2019–20—presents a tournament configuration at par 70 that can stretch to approximately 7,400 yards, while day-to-day member play typically involves a par-71 setup that retains the club’s demanding greens and restored, rugged-edged bunkers. The course’s playing character is defined by precise driving windows, elevated and subtly contoured greens with short-grass runoffs, and strategic, repeated encounters with Allens Creek on the opening and middle stretches, all within sight of the Hill of Fame and the clubhouse. The West Course, also of Ross origin, sits adjacent; together the two courses form a compact championship precinct that continues to host the game’s most significant events.
