Riverton Country Club

Riverton Country Club lies just northeast of Philadelphia, on gently rolling ground inland from the Delaware River in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. The club is private, with golf at its core and an array of family amenities, including racquets, pool, bowling, and event spaces in a clubhouse that serves as the social hub. The 18-hole course occupies two connected land parcels; fairways run out to a far corner of the property and back again, producing an out-and-back rhythm with modest elevation change for the region. The present setup plays as a par-71 from the championship tees, with published back-tee yardage around 6,600 yards and multiple forward options; women’s tees carry a par-73 routing. Practice facilities include a full driving range and short-game areas, expanded and refined during the recent, multi-year restoration program that concluded in 2022. Today the playing experience emphasizes angles and green-site interest over forced water; strategic sand placements—many re-established from historical imagery—shape decisions off the tee and into greens, especially on the two-shotters that define scoring at Riverton.
