Warrior Park Golf Course
South of downtown Fort Wayne at 7102 S. Calhoun Street, the Warrior Park Golf Course operates today as a public, 9-hole course owned by Indiana Tech. The university purchased the property in 2018 and converted the former back nine into its new Warrior Park athletics complex, while continuing public play on the original nine, which the club and local sources attribute to Donald J. Ross and date to 1927. The course presents par 36 over 3,472 yards from the back tees (Black), with additional tee sets that allow a second loop to be played as a distinct "back nine." On-site amenities are straightforward—a pro shop, everyday practice options, league play, and seasonal programming—consistent with the club's role as a neighborhood venue rather than a private facility. Terrain is predominantly level, with modest green elevation and water affecting several holes; difficulty rests more on placement and approaches than on forced carries. The club markets the layout as "nine that plays like 18," a claim supported by the posted 9-hole ratings/slopes and alternate tees for the second loop.
