Locals call it the Volcano. Golf Club Atlas notes that Ross pushed up an unusual amount of earth here, and GOLF describes a two-tiered green perched on a hill. There is no bunker on the hole. The green is an oval set along the line, longer than it is wide, on a broad open apron. Trees close in on the left from about 120 to 50 yards short of the green, and trees and the cart path run along the right the whole way. Beyond the path to the right of the green lies the pond beside the 5th tee.
