Hole 9 · Par 4 · 373 yds
Straight home on one of Sargent's two surviving holes
The 373-yard 9th from the White/Blue tees closes the round, a par 4 on the men's card and a par 5 on the women's. The club counts it, with the 1st, as one of the two holes still as George Sargent designed them in 1921. The tee sits beside houses, and the hole runs dead straight up a corridor of trees, scattered on the left at about 190 to 230 yards and pines on both sides from about 250 yards in. The green is an oval set lengthwise along the line, with a single bunker off its back left.
