Belly Acres, the 408-yard 15th from the Ross tees, is stroke index 1, the hardest hole on the card, and has no sand at all. Mandell found that Ross drew four large mounds in its fairway instead, because bunkers might not drain on this low ground, and the restoration rebuilt them; they do not show clearly on the aerial. Trees line both sides. A stand on the left from about 180 to 275 yards out forms the corner as the hole bends left, and a cart path runs up the right and wraps around the right side and back of the green, which has large trees behind its left side.
