Hole 8 · Par 4 · 302 yds

A fairway that stops short and a field of waste bunkers

The 302-yard 8th from the Blue tees is the shortest par 4 on the card, played from a tee beside the road. The fairway runs straight from about 95 to 225 yards out and stops about 60 yards short of the green. What follows is a field of about nine small bunkers in three loose rows, between roughly 15 and 60 yards short, spread across the whole line; the club's local rules treat every bunker on this hole as a waste area. The club says the ground drops just short of the green, which sits in its own bowl. The green is wider than it is deep, with a rocky bank at its right front and trees down the right.
