Berkshire Country Club

Established in 1899, Berkshire Country Club delivers a classic Willie Park, Jr. test on the rolling hills just outside Reading. The private 18-hole layout stretches to roughly 6,400 yards from the tips, playing to a par 71 highlighted by strategic bunkering, subtly contoured greens and mature hardwood corridors that demand accuracy over brute length. Multiple tee sets accommodate all abilities, while a dedicated short-course and spacious practice range give players ample room to hone every facet of their game. A recently renovated clubhouse anchors the property with locker rooms, a fully stocked golf shop, casual grill room, formal dining, and terraces that overlook the finishing holes. Certified PGA professionals provide individual instruction, junior camps and custom club fitting, and the club’s active tournament calendar features weekly leagues, member-guest events and season-long championships. Complementing the golf experience are swimming pools, racquet courts, and family-friendly social programming, making Berkshire Country Club a complete year-round retreat for members and their guests.
