Beverly Country Club

Beverly Country Club, tucked into Chicago’s historic South Side since 1908, delivers a pure Donald Ross experience on 180 rolling acres shaped by ancient glacial ridges. Measuring 7,016 yards from the championship tees (par 71) and offering four additional tee sets, the layout challenges shot-makers with strategic cross bunkering, elevated push-up greens and shifting prairie winds, yet remains playable for all skill levels. Period-sensitive restorations by Ron Prichard and Tyler Rae have recaptured Ross’s bold contours, earning the course perennial Top-100 recognition and hosting honors that include four Western Opens, two Western Amateurs and the 2009 U.S. Senior Amateur. Golfers warm up on a full-length practice range, expansive short-game complex and dual putting greens, while PGA-certified staff provide private instruction, clinics and an acclaimed junior program. Traditional caddie services, forecaddies and GPS-equipped carts accommodate preferred walking or riding. Off the course, the stately clubhouse features casual and formal dining, men’s and women’s locker rooms, fireside lounges, outdoor terraces and event spaces overlooking the 1st and 18th holes.
