Biltmore Forest Country Club
Biltmore Forest Country Club sits just south of downtown Asheville in the historic Biltmore Forest community, showcasing an 18-hole Donald Ross classic that has challenged players since 1922. The par-70 layout stretches to 6,700 yards through tree-lined corridors and gently rolling terrain with zoysia fairways, placing a premium on accuracy and a deft short game around its subtly contoured bentgrass greens. Members warm up at a full-length practice range, expansive short-game area and separate putting green before tackling the course.
A stately Tudor-style clubhouse designed by Edward Palmer anchors the property, offering multiple dining venues, mountain panoramas and a year-round slate of social events. Beyond golf, the club features a resort-caliber pool complex, modern fitness center, and six Har-Tru tennis courts, creating a well-rounded private retreat for families. A recent restoration by Brian Silva has revived Ross's original bunkering and strategic angles, ensuring the course remains true to its 1920s heritage while delivering premier playing conditions. Invitation-only membership maintains exclusivity, relaxed pace of play and personalized service.
