Ross's opener runs up a cleft, with one bunker at the green

The 340-yard 1st from the Blue tees leaves from beside the pro shop and runs up a broad cleft that Will Bardwell, writing in 2024, found cambers hard from right to left. On the left, beyond the cart path, a pond sits about 80 to 100 yards from the tee and a creek channel runs from about 115 to 260 yards. The right side is open, with a cart path and a few trees. The only sand is a single bunker short and right of the green, about 30 yards short of its centre. Trees stand off the green's front left, with shrubs and trees behind it.
