Hole 17 · Par 4 · 303 yds
A blind short par 4 with two unseen aces
The 303-yard 17th from the Gold tees, stroke index 18, is the shortest par 4 on the card. High Country Press called it the most talked-about hole on the course in 2013: the green sits on the far side of a hill and cannot be seen from the tee, and two holes-in-one had been made there without anyone seeing the ball drop. The hole runs straight, with a tall row of evergreens down the left from about 120 to 265 yards. The oval green is about 35 yards deep and 28 wide, with a bunker short and right about 28 yards short of the centre, another at the front left and a third behind it on the left.
