Brentwood Golf Club
Brentwood Golf Club occupies a compact, low-lying tract in Jacksonville’s Moncrief Heights neighborhood, about three miles northwest of downtown. Today it operates as a community-forward, nine-hole, par-34 facility affiliated with First Tee – North Florida, with a driving range, short-game area, learning center, and a modest clubhouse that supports youth programming as well as daily public play. From the back (Gold) markers the loop measures 2,514 yards, with alternate tees (Blue and Green) that scale the course to 2,347 and 1,927 yards. The experience is deliberately walkable and instruction-centric—players encounter a sequence of short par-4s, one par-5, and three par-3s, with a premium on accuracy into small targets rather than brute length. Although only one hole unquestionably follows the original 1920s alignment, the site still reads as an historic municipal ground, framed by neighborhood streets and civic infrastructure, and used today as a teaching venue that welcomes beginners and juniors alongside regulars from across Jacksonville’s Northside.
