The 391-yard 13th from the Black tees starts over a winding creek about 70 yards out and a bunker in the line at about 120, then bends left at around 240 yards. Six bunkers fill the inside of the turn: a pair at about 175 to 190 yards and four more from 210 to 240, with two further left-side bunkers some 55 to 60 yards short of the green. Two bunkers flank the green on each side. Golf Club Atlas described the putting surface as wider than deep with both sides higher than the middle, so the right hole location favours a drive tight to the inside bunkers and the left one a drive to the outside of the dogleg.
