Hole 4 · Par 3 · 158 yds
Two bunkers left, the creek's tree line right
The 158-yard 4th from the Black tees is the shortest par 3 on the card and one of the few places Ross had a natural feature to work with. Golf Club Atlas described the stream running diagonally along the right of the green, where a ball landing on the right edge is shunted into it. Today that side is a line of trees, with a large one just off the green's right edge. Both bunkers are on the left: one at the front-left, about 7 to 16 yards short of the centre, and one beside the back-left. The green is an oval, deeper than it is wide, with a mown apron in front.
