Broadmoor Golf Club (East Course 9/West Course 9)
About This Course
Perched 6,400-6,800 feet above sea level against the rugged backdrop of Cheyenne Mountain, The Broadmoor Golf Club delivers a storied Colorado Springs golf experience dating to 1916-1918. Donald Ross laid out the original 18 holes, later expanded and redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1952 and 1964 into the East Course and West Course. The East Course is a par-72 championship track stretching 7,355 yards from the tips, while the West Course plays as a par-71 at 7,016 yards. Tree-lined fairways, lightning-quick bent-grass greens and dramatic elevation changes challenge players while framing postcard views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountain Front Range.
This resort golf facility, accessible to Broadmoor hotel guests, offers two full-service practice facilities including a multi-tiered driving range with five target greens, multiple chipping greens with bunkers, and three putting greens. Professional instruction is provided by PGA professionals. The handsome clubhouse features locker rooms, a well-stocked golf shop, and multiple dining venues overlooking the 18th green. Year-round tournaments, corporate outings and custom stay-and-play packages are available, with carts included in all green fees.
With a legacy that includes hosting the U.S. Women's Open (1995, 2011), U.S. Senior Open (2008, 2018, 2025), and U.S. Amateur (1959, 1967), plus Jack Nicklaus's first major championship victory and Annika Sörenstam's breakthrough win, The Broadmoor promises championship pedigree wrapped in five-star hospitality. The East Course has earned five-star ratings from Golf Digest and recognition among the world's top golf resorts.
