The hardest hole, defended by a creek rather than sand
The hardest hole on the card turns right around a single bunker on the inside of the corner, about 165 yards short of the green's centre, with pines down both sides. The approach crosses a creek that cuts diagonally in front of the green some 40 to 50 yards short of its centre then bends left into a pond beyond the trees. The green has no bunkers: it is an irregular, lobed shape, narrow at the front and broader at the back, so the creek and the green's outline do the defending. Our mapped tee sits about 50 yards ahead of the Gold tee, so distances here are measured back from the green.
