Hole 8 · Par 4 · 405 yds
The hardest hole on the card, with a ditch to clear first
The 8th is stroke index 1 and runs dead straight for 405 yards from the Blue tees between woods on both sides. About 150 yards from the tee a ditch crosses the line, and the mown fairway begins beyond it. The green sits at the end of the corridor, longer than it is wide and set along the line of play, with a single bunker on its right side. The club's own guide calls this the hardest hole on the course and says the long green slopes severely from left to right, so an approach that finds the surface can still leave a hard putt.
