Set among mature hardwoods in Brighton and Pittsford, just east of downtown Rochester, the Country Club of Rochester (CCR) presents a walking-friendly, classical test on a compact property shaped by Buckland Creek. The club is private and member-owned, with an 18-hole course that currently plays as a par 70 of roughly 6,580–6,600 yards from the back tees. The routing blends gently rolling ground with a handful of creek crossings and greens that place a premium on precise approach play and deft recovery.
