Ross's longest hole, beside the railroad

The 500-yard 4th from the Blue tees is the longest hole and stroke index 1. The railroad runs the whole left side, about 45 yards from the centre of the fairway behind a line of scattered trees, and trains pass often. The right side is trees and a cart path, and a pond sits right of the fairway about 50 to 100 yards short of the green. The green is wider at the back, with two bunkers pinching its entrance short-left and short-right. Behind it are a hedge and Wilder Boulevard: Ross's original 4th green lay across the road, and that old green is now the practice green.
