East Lake Golf Club

East Lake Golf Club, established in 1904 and restored by Rees Jones in 1994, is Atlanta’s oldest golf course and the permanent home of the PGA TOUR’s season-ending Tour Championship, where the FedExCup champion is crowned each year. The storied Donald Ross design plays to a par 70 and stretches 7,374 yards from the championship tees, routing around East Lake’s namesake water and rolling through mature Georgia pines for a classic parkland feel. Immaculate bent-grass greens, strategic bunkering and the demanding, peninsula-green 18th highlight a layout that rewards precise ball-striking. A strictly private club benefiting the East Lake Foundation, access is limited to members, their guests and select charity or corporate outings, with a highly regarded caddie program enhancing the traditional experience. On-site amenities include a stately Tudor-style clubhouse overlooking the final holes, full practice range, short-game area, putting course, locker rooms and upscale dining that showcases Southern hospitality. Conveniently located five miles east of downtown Atlanta, East Lake continues its mission of “Golf with a Purpose,” supporting community revitalization through the game.
