Hole 5 · Par 5 · 538 yds
This tour was mapped on aerial imagery from 2007–2014, before later restoration work, including new bunkering on the 5th and work on the 16th to 18th, so parts of it show the course as it was. The par and yardage shown for each hole are from today’s card.
A long bend to the right through the trees
From the Gold tee the 5th runs 538 yards, and a solid wall of trees lines the right side all the way to the corner, where the hole swings sharply right about 125 yards from the green. Two bunkers pinch the drive zone, one on the right edge of the fairway and one on the left a little further on, and a third sits on the left edge about 170 yards short of the green. Past the corner, two bunkers sit in the line of play about 85 and 60 yards short. The green, the largest on the course at about 7,300 square feet, is a broad oval with bunkers at its front left, front right and back right. The tour photograph is older than this bunkering and shows a different pattern.
