Hole 7 · Par 4 · 428 yds
This tour was mapped on aerial imagery from 2007–2014, before later restoration work, including new bunkering on the 5th and work on the 16th to 18th, so parts of it show the course as it was. The par and yardage shown for each hole are from today’s card.
The card's hardest hole, past a narrow front door
The 7th is stroke index 1 on the card, 428 yards from the Gold tee. The fairway sets off to the left and turns right about 200 yards from the green, with trees close along the left the whole way and a road running the length of the right side, past a group of buildings level with the corner. There are no fairway bunkers. The green is small for Elmhurst, about 3,600 square feet and roughly round, and two bunkers guard its front corners about 25 yards short of the centre, leaving a narrow opening between them. Trees and a path frame the back.
