The 453-yard 2nd from the ONE tees is stroke index 1, the hardest hole on the card, and the middle of three long par 4s that open the round. It runs straight for its whole length. In the tour photograph trees line both sides, leaving a corridor about 50 yards wide from tree line to tree line at the 250-yard mark, and a paved strip runs behind the right-hand trees about 45 yards off the centre line. Tyler Rae's 2024-25 restoration rebuilt the bunkers and reworked the greens across the course after the photograph was taken, so bunker and green outlines today differ from the image.
