Forest Hills Golf Club

Forest Hills Golf Club sits on the west side of Augusta, Georgia, a few miles from Augusta National, and operates today as a daily-fee facility owned by Augusta University. The course plays as a par 72 to 7,140 yards from the back “Jaguar” tees, with multiple forward options, and serves as the home venue for the university’s men’s and women’s golf teams. Visitors find an on-site clubhouse with grill and pro shop, a full driving range, and an 8,500-square-foot putting green; lessons and memberships are available alongside public play. The terrain is gently rolling and mostly tree-lined, with water appearing primarily on the back-nine par-3s. Greens are currently TifEagle bermuda following a 2024 resurfacing, and course ratings for the Jaguar tees list 74.3/137. In addition to daily play, Forest Hills hosts the long-running collegiate 3M Augusta (Haskins Award) Invitational each spring. Overall, a visitor today encounters a Ross-origin course that has seen selective modern alterations and recent green replacements, yet remains positioned as a high-use university and public golf venue near the center of American golf’s April spotlight.
