Hyde Park Golf & Country Club

Hyde Park Golf & Country Club occupies a tight, hillside property in Cincinnati’s Mt. Lookout/Hyde Park district, a few miles east of downtown. Today’s course plays through a web of wooded ravines, with Zoysia-grass fairways funneling toward small, canted greens and several elevated targets. The club operates as a private, full-service facility with a main clubhouse, a heated pool complex, tennis, platform tennis and pickleball courts, bowling, and a modern indoor Golf Learning Center featuring an indoor practice green and multiple TrackMan-equipped hitting bays. The golf experience is shaped by frequent ravine interactions—forced carries on the par-3 12th and 15th, diagonal hazards on the 2nd and 9th, and valley-edge fairways on longer par-4s—so accuracy and placement matter as much as length. Following a $10.4 million restoration program led by Tyler Rae — including an $8.4 million course restoration that expanded greens, widened fairways, and removed hundreds of trees to re-establish the original Ross dimensions — the course closed in July 2025 and reopened for play on June 20, 2026.
