Ludlow Country Club

Set on gently rolling ground above the Chicopee River valley in western Massachusetts, Ludlow Country Club is a private, member-owned club with a full 18-hole course long associated with Donald Ross. The club sits at 1 Tony Lema Drive in Ludlow, a few miles east of Springfield, and today offers the typical amenities of a mid-size private club: the main clubhouse, event spaces, and practice facilities that include an outdoor range area. The course plays to a par of 72 and stretches to roughly 6,560 yards from the back markers. The routing begins unusually with a mid-length par-3 and closes with a short, risk-reward par-4, creating an experience that mixes classic two-shot golf with reachable fives and half-par holes that encourage decision-making. Public information emphasizes a landscape “surrounded by fields and streams,” and regular use as a Mass Golf qualifying venue suggests the layout remains a solid championship test within the region. Day-to-day access is for members and their guests, with outside tournaments hosted on selected dates.
