Mill Creek Park Golf Club - North

Set within the woodlands of Mill Creek MetroParks in Boardman/Youngstown, Ohio, the North Course at Mill Creek Golf Course is a publicly owned, 18-hole Donald Ross design that remains central to a busy park complex. Today’s visitor finds a par-70 layout stretching to 6,422 yards from the back (Blue) tees, with four additional tee options. The North winds through tall trees and modest parkland relief, and it asks players to manage a sequence of mid-to-long par-4s and four varied par-3s; the course’s best-known hole is the short, uphill eighth with its elevated green bracketed by bunkers. The Fieldhouse (1929) serves as clubhouse and houses the pro shop and the Hole #55 Bar & Grille, while a modern Practice Range & Learning Center and a year-round Indoor Player Development Center (three TrackMan bays, indoor putting green, fitting studios) round out the facilities. Membership is not required; tee times are open to the public, and the course handles significant league and tournament play, including junior events. In winter, the grounds support cross-country skiing, underscoring the course’s role within a multi-use park.
