The 16th is the longest par 4 at Mohawk, 465 yards from the Black tees, and stroke index 4. It turns hard left about 250 yards from the tee, with trees close on both sides and a cluster of buildings set back left of the fairway short of the corner. After the bend the fairway runs on between the trees for some 200 yards to a roughly round green guarded by one bunker about 15 yards short on the left and two down its right side, one beside it and one at the back.
