The 9th is a straight par 4 of 472 yards from the Black tees and stroke index 3. Its tree-lined fairway stops at an irrigation pond that crosses the whole hole from about 100 yards to 45 yards short of the green, with more water continuing to the left, so the approach has to carry it. The green beyond is ringed by four bunkers, one on the left, one behind, one on the right and one short right just past the water's edge. Cart paths loop around the back of the green, and the clubhouse stands beyond.
