Myers Park Country Club

Set within Charlotte’s Myers Park neighborhood, Myers Park Country Club occupies roughly 160 acres four miles south of Uptown, a surprisingly expansive greensward amid dense residential streets. The club operates as a private, full-service facility with a grand clubhouse complex, pools, racquets, and dining; recent multi-year building campaigns enlarged and modernized member spaces while preserving the formal façade that frames the home hole. A full practice range and short-game areas support daily play. The golf course plays over rolling Piedmont topography bisected by Briar Creek, with several corridors offering skyline glimpses—most memorably from the 1st tee and the rise above the 17th fairway. The present surfaces reflect the club’s transition-zone agronomy: TifEagle bermudagrass greens installed during a 2017 course renovation, warm-season fairways, and zoysia used on selected surfaces to manage shade and traffic. Day-to-day conditioning aims for firm, fast greens and broad fairway corridors, outcomes that also support the course’s historical strategic intent.
