Oak Hill Country Club

Set on a hillside east of downtown Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Oak Hill Country Club is a private, member-owned facility built around a split campus: the original nine (today’s front side) sits west of Oak Hill Road, while the back nine occupies the wooded tract across the road. The club presents a par-70, 18-hole course that plays 6,619 yards from the back (Black) tees, with multiple forward options and posted course/slope ratings on the club’s scorecard. Practice amenities include a driving range, putting greens and short-game areas; tennis courts and the pool complex round out the non-golf offerings, with golf instruction, clubfitting and a full pro shop on site. Visitors encounter a course whose two nines feel deliberately different: the front side offers more open corridors but demanding greens, while the back nine tightens into tree-lined, longer par fours and a stern uphill finish. Memberships grant access to the clubhouse, practice facilities, tennis and pool, underscoring the club’s identity as a regional, golf-forward private club with a full family program.
