Springfield Country Club

Springfield Country Club sits on a bluff above the Connecticut River in West Springfield, Massachusetts, with views over the valley from its hill-top clubhouse and wrap-around porch. Today it operates as a private club with an 18-hole course, a three-tier grass driving range, golf shop, and full dining and event spaces. The club promotes “some of the fastest greens in Western Massachusetts,” and maintains a seasonal practice schedule typical of New England clubs. From the back tees the course plays in the mid-6,500-yard range at par 72, with a traditional parkland routing over rolling terrain and mature tree lines that reflect decades of growth and subsequent trimming. Daily play is member-only; tournaments and internal leagues are organized via Golf Genius. The property includes an Olympic-size outdoor pool and multiple dining venues, which frame golf as the centerpiece of a broader family club experience.
