St. Clair Golf Club
Set along North River Road near the St. Clair River, St. Clair Golf Club is a private, member-owned club in Michigan’s Blue Water region. Golf anchors a broader family program: an 18-hole course that plays 6,816 yards, par 72 from the back tees; a natural-grass driving range with 18 hitting stations, four target greens, and dedicated putting and chipping greens with a bunker; a pro shop; locker rooms; pool; and multiple dining spaces (Main Dining Room, Ross Room, Hirt Family Pavilion). Tees scale down through eight sets to 3,065 yards, so the course can be set up for a wide range of abilities. The playing character today is classic Midwestern parkland—narrower corridors in places, punctuated by elevation ripples, with several greens described by the club as elevated with a false front or small targets bracketed by bunkers. The club hosts Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) play days and championships and periodically stages USGA qualifying, keeping the set-up firm enough to test approach play and short-game precision.
