Woodland Golf Club

Woodland Golf Club in Auburndale, Massachusetts, is a private, member-owned retreat located eight miles west of downtown Boston. Established in 1896 and reshaped by Donald Ross, the 6,743-yard, par-72 layout threads through mature hardwoods, featuring strategic bunkering, sloping greens and dramatic elevation changes that reward thoughtful shot-making over brute strength. The course carries a 72.8 course rating and 134 slope from the back tees, yet offers four additional tee decks to accommodate every skill level. Members warm up on a double-ended practice range, dedicated short-game complex and year-round TrackMan simulators. Beyond golf, the club provides a full-service clubhouse with casual and formal dining, expansive patio, and event venues overlooking the 18th green, plus a swimming pool, tennis and paddle courts, fitness center and robust junior programs. A professional caddie corps, active tournament calendar and reciprocal arrangements with regional clubs enrich the playing experience. Woodland’s combination of historic pedigree, impeccably maintained playing surfaces and comprehensive amenities makes it one of Greater Boston’s premier private golf destinations.
