The hardest hole on the card, played over a strip through the trees
The 216-yard 15th from the Blue tees is stroke index 2 and, played as the 6th on the doubled card, stroke index 1. From a tee just in front of a small green-roofed shed, the line runs along a narrow mown strip with trees on both sides for about 150 yards before opening to the green. The oval green, about 34 yards deep and 28 wide, has one bunker at its front left, and a cart path wraps around its right side and back. Ross's notes for this green, his 6th, called for a hollow 20 feet wide and 18 inches deep running diagonally across it, drained to the front.
