Ross's long two-shotter, with a pond on the right

Before Ross this was a par 3; his 1915 changes made it the long par 4 that sets up the one-shot finish. The hole swings hard right around woodland about 170 yards short of the green. Two bunkers sit on the inside of the corner, one of them added in 2012, roughly 185 to 200 yards short of the green, with another on the outside left. The approach runs downhill toward a large green sloping back to front. A pond begins about 65 yards short on the right and follows the green's right edge, and a single bunker sits back left.
