The only tee shot at Elkview played over water. A road crosses just off the mapped tee, then a cove of Crystal Lake fills the ground to about 150 yards out, ending roughly 200 yards short of the green. A second path crosses the fairway about 120 yards from the green, and small evergreens stand on both sides 50 to 75 yards short. The green is longer than it is wide, with a bunker on the left and a smaller one on the right. The club calls it two-tiered, with a ridge through the middle that can spin an approach back off the front.
