Stroke index 2 and the longest par 4 on the card, the 5th has no bunker anywhere. Its defence is the right side: a tree line runs the full length of the hole, and the club plays out of bounds beyond it, as close as ten yards from the green. The drive goes over a rise to a fairway the club describes as falling toward the green, so the second is often from a downhill lie. Trees close in on the left 75 to 105 yards short. The green, about 33 yards deep and pinched on its left side, rolls away from the player.
