Crestmont Country Club

Set on high ground above the suburban ridge of West Orange, New Jersey, Crestmont Country Club is a private 18-hole course whose current presentation blends a substantial body of Donald Ross work with later alterations and modern restoration. The property occupies rolling, tree-lined terrain with long views to the south and east; water hazards and a network of ravines punctuate the routing. From the back tees the course plays approximately 6,866 yards, par 72, with five sets of tees to scale difficulty. The club operates a full practice range and short-game areas, and a multi-phase clubhouse and pool renovation completed in recent years added expanded dining and patio spaces while modernizing locker and service facilities. For competitive golfers, Crestmont has hosted sectional qualifiers (including USGA senior events) and a busy in-house tournament calendar; a walking-friendly topography and an active caddie culture complement the experience. Day-to-day conditioning emphasizes firm fairway surfaces and quick, subtly contoured bent-grass greens. The club is strictly private; outside access is generally limited to organized events.
